Pune, September 2, 2025:
The Dr. Dnyaneshwar Mulay Foundation (DMF), in association with the Khadki Cantonment Board,inaugurated its International Centre of Excellence at the Maharshi Valmiki Library, Nehru Garden,
Khadki, with the vision of empowering youth and women through skill development and social innovation.
The inauguration ceremony was led by Hon. Brig. Paramjit Singh Jyoti, VSM, President, Kirkee Cantonment Board, and Hon. Dr. Dnyaneshwar Mulay, IFS (1983 batch), Advisory National Skill
Development Corporation (NSDC), New Delhi, and former Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.
Also present on the occasion were Hon. Smt. Meenakshi P. Lohia, IDES, CEO, Khadki Cantonment Board, and Shri Abhay K. Sawant, Nominated Member, Khadki Cantonment Board, Riyaj Pirjade, DMF along with several distinguished guests.
Following the ribbon-cutting, Shri Ujwal Sathe, CEO of DMF, delivered the welcome address and outlined the program objectives. A felicitation ceremony honored the dignitaries, conducted by Dr. Mulay and Shri Anil Naniwadekar, Hon. Member of the Foundation.
In his keynote, Dr. Mulay shared the Foundation’s mission:
“India has the potential to become the world’s human resource capital. Through the International Centre of Excellence, DMF will work to bridge the gap between beneficiaries and skills, foster social innovation,
and connect entrepreneurial initiatives with global opportunities. Youth and women will remain at the heart of this transformation.”
Expressing gratitude to the Khadki Cantonment Board, Dr. Mulay emphasized the need for collaborative efforts to ensure India’s talent meets global demands.
Addressing the gathering, Brig. Paramjit Singh Jyoti commended the initiative:
“I deeply appreciate the efforts of the Dr. Dnyaneshwar Mulay Foundation. Programs that foster social development and skill empowerment bring lasting impact to the community, and we will continue to
support such initiatives.”
