Pune: G H Raisoni International Skill Tech University (GHRISTU), Pune, organized On-Campus Interactive Workshop on India Skills Competition 2025, a gateway to the World Skills Competition 2026 in Shanghai. The workshop aims to raise awareness, inspire participation, and equip students with critical knowledge about India Skills and World Skills the world’s largest platforms celebrating vocational excellence and trade skills.
The workshop inaugurated by the august hand of Mr. Mohammad Kalam, Regional Head (West Region), National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), was the Chief guest, Ms. Ashwini Togare, State Engagement Coordinator for Maharashtra and Goa (NSDC), Dr. R. D. Kharadkar, Vice Chancellor, GHRISTU, Dr. Vaibhav Hendre, Pro Vice Chancellor and Dr. Rani Jha, Program Coordinator and Director of Assessment and Evaluation.
The workshop saw overwhelming participation from students across all departments, marked by enthusiastic queries and a strong resolve to represent GHRISTU on national and global stages.
Chief guest Mr. Mohammad Kalam, Regional Head (West Region), NSDC said that, India Skills is not just a competition it is a platform that transforms young talent into global champions. With proper training, discipline, and passion, I am confident many of them will shine not only at India Skills but also on the global stage at World Skills 2026.
